- Listen to the concerns of a senior living in a nursing home.
- Ombudsman Program - Seniors -- work with babies or children as a Foster Grandparent! You may work in a hospital, or a program that serves children in need.
- Serve as a Mentor for youth and be a friend to a family with the 4-H Program; or teach a child to read in the Bridges Program
- Investigate a potential problem in a nursing home.
- Ombudsman Program - Teach a craft class, or lead an activity for older adults at one of our Senior Citizens' Centers
- Take a senior to visit a loved one in a nursing home
- Senior Transportation - Help a child learn to read and for many let them know someone cares.
- Bridges - Teach a computer class at the Community Access to Technology (CAT) public computer labs
- Lend your lifetime of experience to others in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)
- Help feed the hungry
- Meals on Wheels - Help a frail elderly person remain independent and at home
- Senior Transportation - Help an elderly person get to a much-needed medical appointment or the grocery store
- Senior Transportation - Help deliver meals to homebound elders who may be frail and isolated
- Meals on Wheels - Help a kid be physically active
- Recreation Centers - Teach a child to cook, sew or create a project
- 4-H Program - Help with a project at one of the community sites
- 4-H Program - Grow a row of vegetables for the Utah Food Bank

- Meals on Wheels - Bring food and friendship to lots of lonely people
- Meals on Wheels - Help a homebound senior relive great memories. Your visit (when you deliver a hot meal) may be an elder's only outside contact
- Meals on Wheels - Help family members of residents living in a nursing home to run a "family council" meeting
- Ombudsman Program - Give lonely seniors a chance to share their stories
