Wheeler Historic Farm
Description
Wheeler Historic Farm is a living museum depicting farming and
rural lifestyle in the early 1900s. The farm features various farm animals
such as cows, horses, pigs and chickens, as well as a restored farm house, kitchen
garden, orchard, and fields of corn, wheat, alfalfa, and other crops.
Visitors may participate in farm activities and observe demonstrations of old
manufacturing skills such as blacksmithing, quilting, butter and candle making.

Volunteer Opportunities
Tour Guide Volunteers guide tour groups through
the farm house and around the farm telling visitors about life on the turn-of-the
century Utah farm.
Craft Demonstrator Volunteers demonstrate various
"old world" crafts and skills such as quilting, making butter, soap
and candles, and washing clothes by hand.
Special Events Volunteers assist with special
events, such as Scarecrow Masquerade and other seasonal events.
Training & Support
On the job training provided by the Wheeler Farm staff.
