Description
The Children's Justice Center provides a child-friendly atmosphere for children and families who are in crisis do to significant physical and/or sexual abuse of a child. The Center coordinates a multi-agency team effort to engage legal action or support services and assists in the interview process to ensure that the needs of the child and family are met with emotional support and referral continuity.

Volunteer Opportunities
Child Abuse Victim Advocate. Duties include conducting support calls to parents of victims, promoting victim resources and help making them available to clients, assisting clinical staff in advocating for client needs, and assisting with special projects.

Volunteer Requirements
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Must pass a background check

Training & Support
On the job training and support is provided.
