Would you like to become involved in the Utah justice system?

Volunteers Needed!

This is your opportunity to gain unique insight into the state court system and, at the same time, help enhance the skills of Utah’s judges.

The Utah Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission is seeking civic-minded volunteers to participate in a program of courtroom observation in 2010.  Courtroom observations will provide useful feedback to judges about their performance while on the bench.

We require 40-60 hours of your time and thoughtful attention over a 3-month period.  We’ll train you to become a knowledgeable observer of the state court system and to thoroughly complete our online performance instrument.  After training, you will observe in multiple courtrooms along the Wasatch Front.
